The Providence Revolving Fund is taking applications for grants to expand and promote outdoor programming and activity
The Providence Revolving Fund will be providing grants to expand outdoor programming and activities. Grants will be awarded on a first come first serve basis. Providence Revolving Fund will procure, obtain, deliver and distribute take it outside items to eligible small businesses. Examples include, among others: the cost of purchasing, obtaining, delivering, or installing chairs, tables, heat lamps, bike racks, beautification, WIFI, etc.
To be eligible to receive funding or support from the Take It Outside program, a small business must:
Have less than $1 million in annual gross revenue in either 2020 or 2021
Demonstrate negative impact from COVID-19 health pandemic by attesting to one of the following:
Was forced to close or curtail its operations due to the pandemic or government order pertaining to the pandemic
Experienced a material supply chain delay or disruption that negatively impacted its operations
Experienced increased cost as a result of the pandemic
Forced to lay off workers as a result of the pandemic
Impacted in some other way
Not be disbarred from doing business with the Federal Government.
